I grew up on a small mixed family farm in Switzerland and growing things defiantly is in my DNA.
My family has been in agriculture for as long as we can remember! My love for growing flowers has been nurtured by my mother who grew a huge vegetable garden to feed our family of seven, but there was always room for some beautiful flowers!
As a child I spent countless hours in the garden alongside my mother planting, weeding and nurturing our garden!
She taught me a lot of valuable life lessons and we formed a bond around growing plants and flowers that last to this day!
She only regrets that she can’t see this beauty with her own eyes since travelling over the big pond at her age is not possible anymore!
I have a diploma in horticulture and floral design from my native Switzerland! And since moving to Canada with my husband 24 years ago I have attended floral design courses at Georgian College and the Toronto Flower School!
Bunches of Blooms is situated on our family farm were we produce hatching eggs for other farmers and grow crops.
We have 3 children, with the youngest son is still in high school and he is still contemplating his careers options! He loves to take part in various farm chores and even helps his mom in the flower pots!
I also have the support of my wonderful husband Martin, who is always there to lend a helping hand and is my biggest cheerleader!
We are looking forward to expanding the flower plots over the years to come in order to offer lots of beautiful locally grown flowers to the Georgian Bay region and providing fragrant, lush textured designs for their Wedding and events
